TEACHING / LEARNING  STRATEGY  

   Knowledge  imparted at PPS is innovative and learner oriented. The faculty members are highly qualified, fully dedicated and posses  vast experience.

   Teaching-learning process evolves in the class-rooms with supportive, effective and child  centered methods, helping the students to realise their full potential through curricular and co-curricular activities. 

ORGANIZATION OF CLASSES

    The School has been organised into three sections    Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary. These sections, however, do not function as watertight compartments. All the three sections are closely and functionally interconnected  with an emphasis on optimum utilization of the available resources and expertise

        LKG, UKG and Std. I to IV constitute the Primary section of the Junior Wing. The classes are held in spacious classrooms and sufficient playgrounds are available. Boys and girls between the age of four and nine are admitted in this section. It is under the supervision and teaching of well-qualified, trained and experienced teachers. Academic work is done in accordance with the syllabus prescribed by the Education Department of the State Government. The subjects taught are    English, Marathi, Hindi, Mathematics, General Science, History, Geography and  Art & Craft. The regular prescribed syllabus is supplemented through projects, co-curricular activities, visits etc. Sufficient stress is given in developing the child’s ability in reading, writing, drawing and painting. A well-equipped activity room and ample provision for recreational facilities are also available.
