The School was established in 1964 consequent upon the zeal and visionary efforts of late Padmashri Dr Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil, the pioneer of co-operative movement and the founder of the first co-operative sugar factory in the country (1949).

The School admits boys as boarders (Std I to XII) and

both boys and girls as day-scholars ( LKG to XII )
